1. FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT ( 1 Position)
Job Purpose: To supervise and undertake the collection of revenue, preparations of financial reports and audit responses in order to facilitate adherence to financial regulations and accountability.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
§ Preparation of year-end financial statements and balance sheet reporting.
§ Manage financial accounting reconciliations and ensure reporting is done.
§ Reconcile and manage payments for all suppliers.
§ Bank accounts reconciled daily.
§ Reconcile all sundry debtors’ accounts reconciled monthly.
§ Reconcile fixed assets.
§ Prepare pay cost budgets.
§ Ensure VAT is paid every month and all certificates collected.
§ Ensure all payroll statutory payments are paid when due e.g., PAYE, NAPSA, Worker’s compensation, NHIMA and personal levy.
§ Ensure the appropriate forms are submitted for all tax paid in the year.
§ Approve accounts payable, cash book, and payroll cheques and payments.
§ Ensure accruals are properly accounted for as per accounting standards.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
§ Full Grade 12 Certificate with Six (6) Credits
§ Full ACCA, CA (ZICA), or its equivalent
§ Member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA) and a valid driving Licence
§ At least 3 years’ experience in financial accounting
§ Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
§ Strong numerical skills & analytical mind
§ Computer literate added advantage with knowledge of Pastel and Dove
§ Extremely vigilant and Innovative
1. HUMAN RESOURCE ANDADMINISTRATION OFFICER (1 position)
Job Purpose: To assist in coordinating human resource duties and the provision of support services in order to enhance and Company’s performance.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
§ Coordinates effectively, the development and implementation of human resource development plans in order to enhance the skills and competences of staff
§ Coordinates regularly, human resource planning for the Company in order to determine current and future staffing needs
§ Co-ordinates timely, provision of administrative and logistical support services in order to facilitate smooth operations of the company
§ Coordinates regularly, human resource planning for the company in order to determine current and future staffing needs
§ Undertakes timely and accurately, interpretation of rules and regulations in order to enhance adherence
§ Supervises timely, development of individual and departmental work plans in order to monitor and evaluate performance
§ Supervises effectively, the human and other resources in order to attain the objectives of the department
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
§ Full Grade 12/ GCE Certificate
§ Degree in Human Resource Management, Public Administration or its equivalent
§ At least 3 years’ experience in Human Resource Management
§ Excellent writing skills as the job requires preparation of reports
§ Ability to communicate fluently in English as the job requires regular interface with various stakeholders.
